Idaho Wool Growers Association
The Idaho Wool Growers Association is an organization of sheep producers with a mission to promote the production and consumption of lamb and wool and to assist all persons engaged in the sheep industry through: providing consumers with quality lamb and wool products, marketing our products to the best advantage, obtaining lower rates on feed and supplies, protecting the industry against the enactment of laws, policy and regulations which negatively impact business, and protecting livestock from predation, poisoning, theft and disease.
Idaho Rangeland Resource Commission
In the early 1990s, the Idaho Cattle Association, the Idaho Wool Growers Association and the Idaho Rangeland Committee saw a need for increasing the public’s knowledge and understanding about rangeland management. These organizations jointly proposed enabling legislation to create the first “Rangeland Resource Commission” in the United States.
Idaho Farm and Ranch Center
The Idaho Farm and Ranch Center was created in 2020, in response to requests, concerns and hopes brought to us by agriculturalists across the state. The mission of the Center is to collaborate with partners to promote resources and organize efforts that help farmers and ranchers cultivate a viable and resilient agricultural industry.
American Goat Federation
The American Goat Federation represents the interests of more than 150,000 producers engaged in the sustainable production and marketing of goat milk, meat, fiber, breeding stock, pack goat and grazing services across the United States.
American Sheep Industry Assocation
The American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) is the national organization representing the interests of more than 100,000 sheep producers located throughout the U.S. From East to West, pasture-based flocks to range operations, ASI works to represent the interests of all producers.
