The Idaho Sheep and Goat Health Board, hereinafter called the board, shall consist of five (5) members, consisting of experienced wool growers or goat raisers, or a combination of experienced wool growers and goat raisers, and no two (2) of whom shall be from the same county; said members shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the governor. Members shall hold their offices for the term for which they are appointed and thereafter until their successors are duly appointed and qualified (Title 25, Animals Chapter 1).
Board Members
Chairman- Steve Wilder, Canyon County. Steve is a retired agriculture educator and operates Wilder Sheep Company.
Vice Chairman- David Dalling, Jefferson County. David runs Dalling Sheep, a range operation based in Hamer, Idaho.
Board Member- Dr. Tony Parsons, Bingham County. Dr. Parsons runs Blackfoot Veterinary Clinic.
Board Member- Carol Finney, Twin Falls County. Carol raises Dorsets and Katahdins on her alfalfa hay and sheep operation.
